Automotive Resource Group was founded in 2006 by Richard Zellner who has spent the majority of his professional career in senior leadership roles in large indirect automobile lenders including Wachovia Dealer Services, WFS Financial, and Key AutoFinance. A large part of his responsibility was the development of strategic initiatives that would drive volume, efficiency, and profitability in indirect lending. He was instrumental in the conception, development, and implementation of many successful programs and was responsible for the teams that managed the relationships with over 10,000 retail automobile dealerships. In addition, the relationships and growth with the largest public auto groups were under his direction.

Mr. Zellner developed and implemented the GAP and Service Contract programs for one of the largest auto lenders in the U.S. which is currently still earning impressive revenue from those products.
